Epcot was the second of Disney’s theme parks, opening its doors to the public on October 1, 1982. Epcot stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, a focus on Walt Disney’s vision to showcase innovation, technology and human achievement. When you first enter the park Spaceship Earth, the icon of Epcot, welcomes you to explore the two areas of Epcot – Future World and World Showcase.

Future World is dedicated to showcasing technology, communication, energy, the land, seas, space and the impact humans have on the earth.

World Showcase takes on a global adventure as you travel through 11 countries:

The World Showcase gives you the chance to become absorbed in other cultures of the world as you visit the restaurants, attractions, pavilions and shops that are featured in the 11 different countries.

With over 300 acres to explore, Epcot is a fun filled day of technology, culture and earth’s marvels.
